2012 Feature Bulls!

Springcreek Lotto 52Y

Lotto is as complete a bull as we have ever raised.  He is thick muscled and deep bodied in a very attractive, well balanced package.  He has a good disposition and large testicles.  This performance bull had a 94 lb birth weight which was less than the average in his contemporary group of 37 bulls.  His dam combines Black Tank 63P and Line Drive, two legends here on the ranch.  She is now in our flush program.  Opportunity Time!  Terms to be announced.

Springcreek Ransom 14Y

We used Ransom 14Y to include some of the great 'On Target' genetics.  His growth numbers are in the top 3% of the breed.  All his offspring will be black and polled. A maternal brother was purchased by Willie Burnett and he is very high on the bull's calves, breeding and fleshing ability.  His dam is also the granddam of Lot 6 (MBJ 55Y).  Retaining 1/3 semen interest.

Springcreek Align 43Y

This 56U son is a bull that has caught my eye since birth.  He is very attractive and growthy.  His growth and maternal numbers are in the top 20 % of the breed.  He and his dam have the popular blaze face to identify his calves at the marketplace.  His dam is a very quiet cow and one of our favorites.  Retaining 1/3 semen interest.

Springcreek Club King 55Y

This outcross bull will catch your eye.  He has a great hair coat and a thick muscle pattern.  His growth numbers are in the top 4% of the breed.  His beautiful dam's 2010 son sold last year to Jamie Husband.  We also used him.  55Y's maternal granddam is the dam of Lot 3 (MBJ 14Y).  Retaining 1/3 semen interest.

Springcreek Align 106Y

You will be impressed with the three calves by 'Tess 73T', two embryo calves and her natural calf.  Another 56U son was a popular bull in last year's sale and sold to Grant Lundago of Sheho.  106Y has a lot of muscle in a very attractive package with a 90 lb birth weight.

Springcreek Align 129Y

129Y is very deep bodied with a huge hind quarter.  He has a super hair coat and an attractive front end.  I have attached a picture of 47M, the maternal granddam of these three bulls.

Springcreek All In 155Y

155Y is the natural, deep bodied, younger calf out of 'Tess 73T'.  He is homo polled and black.  The consistant quality of these three bulls speaks to their breeding prepotency; breeding bulls to add value to our industry.  Retaining 1/3 semen interest.

Springcreek Redwood 27Y

Redwood 27Y is my leadoff red bull.  His pedigree is loaded with good ones.  His dam is a great young cow (pictured here as a two year old) going back to a traditional Demby daughter.  The old 'Demby' bull is one of the very best bulls I have used of any color.  Along with his outstanding phenotype, he has a great disposition and a 78 lb birth weight out of a three year old.  His maternal granddam is pictured as dam of Lot 30, MBJ 91Y.  Retaining 1/3 semen interest.

Springcreek Redwood 36Y

An attractive 72U son out of a full sister to Red Tank 57P.  She also had one of my feature black bulls last year, selling to Westwood Land and Cattle.  The 72U progeny are very consistant in type, hair coats and dispositions.  Their scrotal EPDs are near the top of the breed.

Springcreek Crosby 72Y

This Crosby son comes from a great Line Drive daughter.  She raised a feature bull last year, selling to Mitchell Cattle Co.  72Y, like his dam, has the attractive blaze face.  He is Fleckvieh influenced and is in the top 1 % for weaning and yearling.  Retaining 1/3 semen interest.

Springcreek Crosby 99Y

Breeders have a look here.  He is a Crosby son out of a beautiful daughter of the great 111R (dam of Lot 5 MBJ 43Y).  Check out his growth and maternal EPDs.  We should have called him 'Gretzky'.

Springcreek Heritage 911Y

Here is an opportunity to buy a son of the great 72R that has a good set of balanced EPDs.  99T daughters and 72R have super udder quality and so his offspring have to excel in this trait.  Owned jointly with Sun Rise Simmentals.  Retaining 1/3 semen interest.

Springcreek Align 167X

Align 167X is a fall calf that has a lot of power.  He will cover a lot of cows and send lots of pounds to market.
